Max Borenstein will write the script for Legendary Pictures’ “Godzilla” sequel which Gareth Edwards will direct.
Borenstein is becoming the go-to man for this kind of film. He penned the screenplay for the first film and also wrote King Kong origin pic “Skull Island”.
The sequel has been dated for a June 8, 2018 release.
