Charisma’s Dad just loves answering your letters!

Your pressing questions answered by Clint Morris

Clint, I was watching “Weird Science” last night and as soon as I saw ‘Wyatt’ (Ilan Michael Smith), I immediately thought of you – Sean

Clint: I was cleaning out the grime from my fingernails this morning and there was this stubborn, annoying little shit-bit…. I immediately thought of you. But in all seriousness, thanks – you could’ve said ‘I saw Anthony Michael Hall’s character drunk- when he starts speaking like Ellen Pompeo on acid – and it reminded me of you, Clint!’’

Ok Answer boy, Answer this – why do all the ghosts come to Jennifer Love Hewitt (On “Ghost Whisperer”) Couldn’t they just visit someone else? – Paul

Clint : Two Words : “B-I-G T-I-T-S”.

This writer’s strike sounds sucky – does it affect you, being in film production yourself? How does it? – Anna

Clint : It affects me in good ways and bad ways, for instance a) suddenly I’ll be able to get a latte quicker at the local Starbucks, due to the increase in baristas but, b) I’ll have to sit through my fuckin’ “Baby Genuises” sequels. But yes, it is a scary thought – it’ll throw a spanner in the works of many film productions. Luckily, I have other jobs, I know a lot of folks out there who work in the industry don’t so I’m more afraid for them. Then again, it’s our chance to see say, Shane Black and Cherry SweetAss in a double bill at Sam’s Strip-Hole. You don’t see that every day!

Indiana Jones and the… what? – Trevor

Clint : …. Blacklisted extra of Indy’s past.

Clint, you guys got to visit the set of “The Dark Knight” recently, could you give us a couple of insightful titbits based on your visit?. – Brian

Clint : Um, yeah, sure. A) No scientologists were harmed in the making of the movie…. Because there was none in it B) Whenever Christopher Nolan would yell out ‘we need Two-Face!’ Sharon Stone would walk out on set.

hey clint do you think they will ever make a big screen version of smokey and the bandit 4 any way we was hearing alot about for while is jerry reed and sally felid,s and burt reylonds are they going to return in it any way maybe they ryan reylond,s will the the new bandit and get the 1977 trans am back any way hope they pull it off soon from holden – Holden

Clint : I tell ya folks, the boy lives for this Mailbag – he emails me at MySpace and Facebook just to ask whether I’ll be doing it this week and to inform me that he was ‘3’ great questions coming to me…. I think that’s question one right there. Um. Yep.

hey clint when are they going to do a quatum leap movie any way let,s hope they make one soon any way that would really neat to see from holden…. – Holden

Clint – Yes, and in it, Sam will help me out – by jumping into my body for a few weeks so I can have a break from answering questions on the Mailbag.

hey clint i heard yogi bear the movie any way is waner bors going to make him like cgi movie any way that kinda neat to see on screen any way holden – Holden

Clint : I think Jason Lee is too busy to do the voice of Yogi at the moment, so they’ll wait it out a little longer. You’re not the first person to write in and say a ‘CGI Yogi Bear movie would be neat!’… oh hang on, yes you are.

Is this 5th ‘’Jaws’’ movie true?? Love to know?? I have also started writing a script for the 5th movie a couple years, its a little gory, but cool. Let me know. Thanks – Steve

Clint : You mean, the “Jaws 5” movie rumour that surfaced about a year ago and was debunked within a week? No. Not true. I always tell writers – don’t write sequels, spin-off’s or prequels to films that owned by someone else; chances are you’ve done it for nothing because not only will they not use your script/treatment but they won’t even look at it. It’s the sad truth I’m afraid. What I’d suggest is you write something smaller – something that can be done for less than a million bucks – and send that in to a few places as a writing sample. Once you build up your cred, and get your foot in the door, you might earn yourself a chance to write such a sequel. Oh wait, you don’t thinbk I’m really Steven Spielberg do you and that’s why you’ve wrote me about it? ‘Fraid not bud, I’m plain ol’ Lance Guest.

Hey Clint – how do you feel about Warner Bros. lack of enthusiasm having actresses as their leads in the movies?
While I don’t agree 100% about this I also understand where they are coming from.
I always think the 3 recipes for a successful movie or even a television show:
1.Amazing script
2.Appealing actor/actress for the audience 3.Marketing
– Carrie

Clint : Personally, I think Jeff Robinov’s comments were taken out of context and I can’t see Warner banning female-lead movies…. I mean, they’ve got a “Wonder Woman” movie in the works for Christ’s sakes… but if it is true, and Mr CEO did say that he wouldn’t be doing anymore female-lead movies, I’d tell him he’s about to take a bite out a meatless sandwich… because the studio would be headed down some pretty untasty roads.

pls send trailer. – Aruna

Clint : pls learn how to write proper question.

Are there any updates on ‘’Cowboys for Christ’’? Is filming still due in November or is it dead? – Drew

Clint : I believe the “Wicker Man” rework is casting at the moment actually, and I believe Nicolas Cage’s phone calls haven’t been returned.

I Just Want To Let You Know Director Len Wiseman Is No Longer Directing The Movie Adaptation of ‘’The Gears of War’’ And The Movie Has Been Scraped Due To Budgetary Concerns According To IESB.NET – Jayme

Clint : I did see that, I just forgot to report it – must’ve been a story about Amanda Bynes doing tricks that day that took precedence.

I have a question. Are there any plans for Steven Spielberg to produce the movie “Neanderthal”? He purchased the movie rights from the author, John Darton, of the the book named “Neanderthal”.
Thanks.
– Elliot

Clint – I don’t actually man, but Spielberg does take his sweet-ass time getting movies up… so chances are it’s in pre-production for a 2012 start.

Hey! Any news on a ‘’Halloween II’’ or ‘’Fantastic Four III’’? Also what the hell is going on with ‘’Jurassic Park IV?’’! I can\’t wait any longer – it’s getting a joke! – Sam

Clint : You know it’s your fault that the film industry has gone to shit, right? Whatever the case, no news on any of those films… and well, I’m kinda thankful for that. Treat yourself to “3:10 to Yuma” or “The Brave One” this weekend; it’ll be refreshing.

If your daughter were named Zoe, or River, or Inara, or Kaylee, THEN you’d get instant Browncoat cred. Charisma just tells me that you like Joss Whedon stuff, and that you have an eye for good-looking actresses. 🙂 Nevertheless, may your daughter grow up to be the best spaceship mechanic ever — or whatever else might make her happy! Cheers! – MJM

Clint : And my wife was dead against calling her “Mal Reynolds Morris” just for the sake of being sent a “I Heart Browncoats” badge. Oh well, at least I’ll be in Charisma Carpenter’s good books for a couple of years….

Hello Clint of Moviehole.net, I would like to ask you is that is there will be ‘’Poltergeist 4’’ coming? Now, I have to tell you is that will you please them to bring in Dakota Fanning to be as “carol anne” because she is perfect and she does look like Heather 0′ Rourke. Please tell them not to get Hillary Duff because Hillary is ugly and she cannot even act! and also Hillary is too old! So, it will be great to get Dakota Fanning because I am her biggest fan! I bet Dakota will accept this new ‘’Poltergeist 4’’!
? – Matt

Clint : Now why would you ask me about this, hey? Well, I can honestly tell you that as of today I have nothing to do with a “Poltergeist 4” – that was years ago – and can also tell you that Hilary Duff was never approached about doing the film; she was merely an idea. So rest easy. As far as I know, there is no fourth “Poltergeist” film in the works. And if tomorrow the trades announce Miley Cyrus as the lead in “Poltergeist 4” don’t come crying to me…

“What’s considered a fuckin’ joke is now, er, a fuckin’ joke.”
hahahaha! I spit my Mountain Dew out over that one! I would have to agree as well. Such a shame the film and Snake isn’t going to be an improvement. Anyway, again –LOVE the site! You guys are the best. Just one question though and I’m sure it’s been asked but I HAVE to know. Will the new JLA movie be an all CG movie with voice-overs or will it be live action? Will it really hurt the production of the ‘’Superman Returns’’ sequel? Thanks!
– Jared

Clint : Well, it’s true – I’m about as excited as an “Escape from New York” remake as I am to read the Mailbag letters from you-know-who every week. As for “Justice League”, it’s live-action apparently – only Superman’s cod-piece will be animated.

Hey Clint, i know over the years that there was talk of a ‘’Trainspotting’’ sequel called ‘’Porno’’ but Danny Boyle wasn’t interested in making it yet because the actors who played the characters didn’t look old enough. i am positive that i read something not too long ago that Danny Boyle was indeed going ahead with the sequel sooner rather than later. Do you know the current status of this? ‘’Trainspotting’’ is one of my absolute favourite movie of all time and though i would be a little worried that a sequel could possibly suck, i would love to see the classic characters back on the big screen for one more time as the book is bloody impossible to read with the Scottish dialect. – Steve A.

Clint : I brother, top of the day to ya, and gimmbly joo to you, me lad. I believe it’s all still “talk”…. Don’t be surprised if it never happens.

Hey, aren’t you working with Patrick Lussier on a movie at the moment, so you can tell us what happened with “The Eye” then and why he replaced the other directors? – Christopher

Clint : Um, no, I can’t actually – but I can tell you he gets to look through a camera every day and see Jessica Alba staring back at him!

Interesting read on the WGA you have up…do you think Stallone’s POE will be able to come together for a late 2008 release or possible 2009?? – AB King

Clint : I haven’t heard anything about it in ages actually, I doubt it’s even been financed.

I agree with your take on the TV shows. Mostly were overhyped but didn’t quite deliver the goods for me too. Is it really a go for ‘’X-files’’?
Do you think there’s a chance of a movie for ‘’Alias’’? ‘’24’’? ‘’Army Wives’’? ‘’High school musical’’?(my daughter is hoping very much on this one)
– Marie

Clint : There will definitely be film versions of “The X-Files”, “24” and “High School Musical” in the near future… and if we all close our eyes and wish hard enough, maybe a “Cavemen” movie too!

will you take clothes off? – Fleur

Clint : Only if the character, and situation, called for it. Or are you the girl next door you likes to wash me naked vacuum?
