With just 50-or-so- days left until the release of “The Hunger Games”, it is no surprise that new photos, websites and a teaser trailer are being revealed thick and fast.
A couple of days ago, the website The Capitol Tour launched, which is currently seeding people into groups for the chance to “experience the splendour of the Capitol”.
It has also been announced at Mockingjay.net that during the Super Bowl pre-show, a new teaser trailer for the flick will be aired for the very first time.
And today, a new photo, also from Mockingjay.net – of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and stylist Cinna (Lenny Kravitz) just before she enters the deadly Hunger Games arena. One of the story’s most emotionally-charged scenes, Cinna attempts to reassure Katniss that she can win the Games, and that if he were allowed to bet “I’d bet on you.”
For those of you who have been living under rocks for the last year, “The Hunger Games” chronicles the trials and triumphs of Katniss Everdeen as she volunteers to take her sister’s place in the 74th Annual Hunger Games; a government-sanctioned deathmatch held in the ruins of the United States, where each year 2 adolescents from each of Panem’s 12 Districts are sent to fight to the death, which is then televised as a sporting event. “The Hunger Games” stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks and Stanley Tucci.
