New Expendables and Children of the Corn sequels a go!?

Despite his recent career turnaround with an award-nominated turn in “Creed”, Sylvester Stallone’s macho action-hero days mightn’t be behind him just yet.

A fourth “Expendables” movie is said to be inching closer with cast member Randy Couture confirming a Fall start on the testosterone-clad actioner. According to The Arnold Fans, the actor made the announcement at the Arnold Sports Festival, where of course Couture’s “Expendables” co-star Schwarzenegger was the central attraction.

It was reported last October that Nu Image and Millennium had made pre-sale deals with China for an “Expendables 4” so even if it goes without Sly, it’ll likely still go (and sounds like it is).

“Feast” helmer John Gulager is reuniting with that film’s producer Joel Soisson for a new “Children of the Corn” sequel.

Per Bloody Disgusting, Gualger is directing a Soisson-scripted sequel for Dimension – likely so the shingle doesn’t lose the rights to the cult horror franchise.
