“Night at the Museum”, “Free Guy” and “The Adam Project” helmer reunites with Ryan Reynolds

Shawn Levy, who directed Ryan Reynolds’ in Netflix’s “The Adam Project”, will reunite with the Canadian funnyman for “Deadpool 3”.

The Hollywood Reporter has the news, saying Marvel’s merc with a mouth threequel has found its director in the prolific director and producer, whose other credits include “A Night at the Museum”, “Cheaper by the Dozen”, “Real Steel” and “Free Guy”, also with Reynolds.

Tim Miller and David Leitch had directed the previous two “Deadpool” films, respectively.

Though this will be the character’s first appearance in a Disney-distributed “Deadpool” film, there’s rumours Reynolds may have filmed a cameo as the red-suited superhero for May’s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are writing “Deadpool 3”.
