Lindsay Lohan says she’s roped Jimmy Fallon into joining her, and the co-stars of her 2004 hit “Mean Girls” in a sequel.
Yep, the film doesn’t exist but the 32-year-old actress, out plugging her new reality series Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, is recruiting cast.
You gotta laugh..
Lohan, who has long hankered for a real sequel (as opposed to this) to the sleepover staple, tells ET that the Tonight Show host is even helping inch the project forward.
“Fallon’s also going for it too. He was helping me out today, actually.”
Should the sequel go ahead – they’ve been trying for years (scribe Tina Fey has never sounded too confident) so don’t hold your breath – Jonathan Bennett would seemingly be a sure-thing to reprise his role as Lohan’s on-screen love interest (or maybe he’s her ex now, and Fallon’s her new beau in it?).
Bennett will reportedly host the after show of Lindsay’s new show. They caught up this week to take some selfies… and fuel the flames of the unyielding sequel rumor. Getting to the daughter of the chief of Paramount Pictures might work better, guys…
