“Star Wars” alum Hayden Christensen will star in director Rob Cohen’s fantasy action movie “Marco Polo”, says The Wrap.
The “xXx” director and Paramount are readying a movie about a historical figure who took a 24-year journey into China in the 13th century.
The movie, one of two Marco Polo projects in the works (the other is a series on Netflix), is a co-production between Paramount and China Film Group.
Christensen, who got his big break when he was cast as Anakin Skywalker in the “Star Wars” movie prequels, hasn’t appeared in a studio film since “Takers” in 2010.
