With the film surpassing expectations this past weekend MGM has greenlit a sequel to “The Addams Family”, their well-received animated take on the beloved TV and film series.
The film, which has chalked up over $30 million in receipts at the North American box office by Sunday evening, will be followed by an untitled sequel, scheduled to open October 22, 2021.
No word on which cast members from the film – featuring the voices of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, Allison Janney, Elsie Fisher and Snoop Dogg – will return for the next
