Josh Boone’s flick, starring Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, Henry Zaga, was originally set to open April 13, 2018, before being delayed to February 22, 2019, to avoid ”Deadpool 2”, and then to August 2, 2019, to avoid ”Dark Phoenix”. Recent rumors suggested it was bypassing theaters in favour of a Disney+ premiere”.
