The Nightmare Before Christmas sequel is here! Kinda….

It’s been 25 years since the brilliant of Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” (yes I am biased, it’s my favourite movie) and fans of the animated classic have a sequel to look forward to – alas, it’s not on the big screen. The movie is set for print, with publisher Tokyopop publishing a follow-up to the 1993 film in the form of a comic book.

THR reports that the comic book will expand on the story of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” characters, with Jack Skellington’s dog Zero front and centre. The comic will be titled “The Nightmare Before Christmas: Zero’s Journey” and sees Zero get lost in Christmas Town. The release date is set for spring 2018.

The format for the new addition to the Jack Skellington family will be released initially as single issues, then collected into full-colour trade paperback editions, as well as black and white pocket-sized manga editions. So basically you’ll get the buy it in single issues, or wait for the collected edition. Or if you’re me…. BUY THEM ALL!!!!!!
