Hollywood’s gung-ho for a remake of the acclaimed classic “Ben-Hur”, with “Night Watch” director Timur Timur Bekmambetov the favourite to direct.
Deadline says MGM are talking to the filmmaker about bringing the vintage novel ”Ben-Hur: A Tale Of The Christ” back to the big screen. Keith Clarke (“The Way Back”) adapted the book on spec; it apparently got the studio enthusiastic about bringing the Steel Chariot back to cinemas.
