Warner Bros pushes a whole bunch of films back a year

Warner Bros has opted to push “Godzilla vs. Kong” from Thanksgiving 2020 to May 21, 2021.
The Burbank-based shingle has also decided to push “The Matrix 4”, whose production schedule was affected due to the coronavirus pandemic, from May 21, 2021 to April 1, 2022. The new film, starring Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, has been described as a reboot of the franchise – with Reeves rumored to be playing an all-new character (his ‘Neo’ died in the third “Matrix”).
Also pushed, Robert Zemeckis’ remake of “The Witches” now has no release date (it was October 9, 2020) and “Tom & Jerry” is moving from December 23, 2020 to May 21, 2021.
