Welcome back, Veronica Mars!

As previously rumoured, “Veronica Mars” is back on the case- this time at Hulu.

Kristen Bell will reprise her plucky tweenage P.I for a new limited-series on the online streamer, with series creator Rob Thomas writing the eight episodes.

As per EW, Bell’s commitments to NBC’s “The Good Place” shouldn’t be affected since the “Mars” shoot won’t take up much of her time. No word whether co-stars Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, Francis Capra, Ryan Hansen, Teddy Dunn, Michael Muhney, or Tina Majorino will be back for more – but there’s a good shot most of them will be involved.

Several elements of the deal are not yet closed but a revival has been quietly in the works for months between studio Warner Bros. and Hulu.

“Veronica Mars” ran on UPN (and then The CW) for three seasons and just over 60 episodes between 2004 and 2007. It was followed by a [crowd-funded] feature film, released in 2014.
