It was almost a given it would happen sometime, and if only for the pure and simple reason that the actress has long referred to the experience as one of the highlights of her career, but today it was solidified : Season 2 of “Star Trek Picard” will feature the return of Whoopi Goldberg’s Next Gen fave Guinan.
Star Patrick Stewart appeared on The View today to promote the first season of the series, launching tomorrow, and in turn asked host Goldberg whether she’d consider returning to the franchise for another go-round with Jean-Luc.
The actress, who has been filming the reworking of Stephen King’s “The Stand”, was more than enthusiastic in her response.
