According to Deadline, One Direction singer Harry Styles has been offered a role in Christopher Nolan’s World War II actioner “Dunkirk”.
Word is the part is not a leading role, and a deal is not yet done, but if Styles does join the project this will mark his first foray into feature acting.
Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Tom Hardy are among the ensemble cast made up largely of unknown actors.
While plot details remain scarce, we do know the film will centre on the WWII evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940, saving around 330,000 soldiers trapped in the harbour by the German army.
