As per recent scuttlebutt, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smollett-Bell have snagged key roles in Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Birds of Prey”.
Winstead (“Death Proof”, “Final Destination 3”) will play Huntress, while former “Friday Night Lights” star Smolett-Bell has been cast as Black Canary.
Margot Robbie is already onboard to reprise her Harley Quinn role from “Suicide Squad”.
The Cathy Yan directed film, based on a script by Christina Hodson (“Bumblebee”), goes into production late 2018 for a February 2020 release.
