X-Files writers returning for revival

“The X-Files” writer/producers Glen Morgan and James Wong are set to return for the show’s revival.

According to TVLine, Morgan and Wong will each write and direct one episode of the six-ep reboot.

Morgan will also exec produce with series creator Chris Carter.

At this stage we don’t expect Vince Gilligan (“Breaking Bad”), who was also involved in the show in a behind-the-scenes capacity, to return.

Production is scheduled for the summer.
