The next ‘X-Men’ movie – after this Summer’s “X-Men : Days of Future Past” – will be in director Bryan Singer’s “X-Men : Apocalypse”, according to director James Mangold.
The director of last year’s “The Wolverine” was asked by a Twitter follower when we’d see a sequel to the former; his response suggests “Apocalypse” is going to go first – while they work on another solo ‘Wolverine’ story. At this stage, there’s no word on whether Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) will appear in “Apocalypse”.
Since “X-Men : Apocalypse” is still a ways off – I don’t believe they even have a script yet – we probably won’t be seeing “The Wolverine 2” for at least two or three more years.
@R__E__D_R__U__M @20centuryfox @ShuDonner We are figuring it all out. At the moment, I'm shooting The next #Wolverine after #XmenApocalypse.
