Diego Luna, next in “Rogue One : A Star Wars Story”, has joined the cast of Sony’s “Flatliners” remake.
The Niels Arden Oplev (“The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”) directed film has already obtained the services of thesp Ellen Page.
The original 1990 film starred Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, William Baldwin and Oliver Platt. According to The Wrap, who have the scoop on Luna’s casting, the core group will contain three women and two men.
Laurence Mark (“I, Robot”) produces the film alongside Michael Douglas, a producer on the original Joel Schumacher film.
