Director Bennett Miller and scribe Tom Stoppard are developing a new film adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”.
Like Dickens’ 1843 original, the film will be set in the 19th century. The novella follows Ebenezer Scrooge and his redemptive Christmas Eve tour of the holiday past, present and future.
Annapurna Pictures’ Megan Ellison, Miller, Scott Rudin and Jennifer Fox will produce.
