J.J Abrams is bringing to the screen Michael Jackson’s last few months.
The “Star Wars : The Force Awakens” helmer is shepherding a new mini-series based on Tavis Smiley’s upcoming book “Before You Judge Me: The Triumph and Tragedy of Michael Jackson’s Last Days” for Warner Bros. Television.
The book is said to be pretty tense, and fixes on such elements as Jackson’s plight to remain private and how his enormous profile ultimately played a part in his deterioration.
According to The Live Feed, the series will be shopped to all networks. Smiley, Abrams, Ben Stephenson and David Brewington executive produce.
