The Maze Runner: The Death Cure will restart production next year

Production on “The Maze Runner: The Death Cure” will get back underway nearly a year after an on-set accident injured star Dylan O’Brien in March and halted filming indefinitely.

According to Deadline, the shoot is scheduled to restart in February, with the cast and crew back on board to begin filming, albeit in a new location.

The film – which was initially scheduled to release on February 17, 2017 – has been pushed back to January 12, 2018.

Wes Ball is still attached to direct from a script by T.S. Nowlin, adapted from the third “Maze Runner” novel by James Dashner.
