NBC’s “Cruel Intentions” sequel series is no longer going ahead.
According to Variety, NBC couldn’t fit the series into its schedule.
However Sony is currently shopping the show around and multiple networks have reportedly shown interest, so we might see the series find another home.
The pilot starred Sarah Michelle Gellar reprising her role as Kathryn Mertuil. The original film’s writer-director Roger Kumble and producer Neal H.Moritz also returned for the TV reboot.
