According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christian Slater ("Windtalkers") and James Woods ("Salvador") will star in the indy feature "Fairhope, USA" for Director Harold Becker. "Fairhope" sees Woods star as a convicted sex offender who moves to a small town to live in obscurity after his release from jail. However, when legally forced to register with the police, the entire town quickly learns of his past. He becomes a pariah overnight and is exiled from the community, including the local church. When a compassionate pastor (Slater) decides to minister to him privately, tensions escalate and convictions are tested.
