Julia Roberts cast in The Bookseller

In yet another book-to-movie adaptation, “The Bookseller” by Cynthia Swanson is set for the big screen, with Julia Roberts being cast in the title role.

The story is set in the 1960s, and follows a single woman, Kitty Miller, who runs a bookstore (sounds like she’s swapped roles with Hugh Grant in Notting Hill, no?). Kitty finds herself dreaming up an alternate life in which she has found true happiness in marriage and children, but then must figure out what’s real and what’s not once the line between reality and dreams starts to blur.

Roberts is also signed on the produce the flick alongside Lisa Gillan and Marisa Yeres Hill. Roberts recently starred in “Money Monster” and the god-awful “Mother’s Day”. She’s also starring in the upcoming “Wonder” alongside Owen Wilson.
