New Matt Groening animated comedy coming to Netflix

Matt Groening, the man behind “The Simpsons” and “Futurama” is bringing his new adult animated comedy fantasy “Disenchantment” to Netflix with a 20-episode order. The show will be premiering in 2018 with 2 season of 10 episodes each.

Abbi Jacobson, Nat Faxon and Eric Andre are headlining the voice cast alongside John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, David Herman, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding and Lucy Montgomery.

“Ultimately,” says Groening, “Disenchantment will be about life and death, love and sex, and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots, despite what the elders and wizards and other jerks tell you.” If you’re a fan of animated sex (as there isn’t any obscene sex scenes in this series) Watching anime XXX has never been easier.

Deadline is reporting that the show is set in the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, the series will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean (Jacobson), her feisty elf companion Elfo (Faxon), and her personal demon Luci (Andre). Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.

“Disenchantment” has been in development at Netflix for more than a year and a half, and will be a part of Netflix’s ever growing animated network.
