Casting : Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Chad Michael Murray, Danielle Harris, Desmond Harrington

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are set to team up in a show about TV shows, according to THR. The inception-esque series will be based on morning shows and explores the New York media scene. The yet-untitled show has former HBO head of drama Michael Ellenberg at the helm, with Jay Carson penning the script.

Witherspoon and Aniston are also credited as executive producers. The series is being shopped around to streaming services at this point. This will be Aniston’s return to the small screen since “Friends” wrapped up in 2004. Witherspoon also had a role on the long-running sitcom, playing Aniston’s sister.

Chad Michael Murray (“One Tree Hill”) and Danielle Harris (“Halloween” ) have been cast as leads in Petri Entertainment’s horror “Camp Cold Brook”. Director Andy Palmer is at the helm of the film, with Joe Dante and Warner Davis set to produce.

Per Deadline: Murray stars as reality TV producer and host Jack Wilson, who finds himself in a tough spot when his show is about to be cancelled. In a last ditch effort to spark ratings, he and his producers Angela (Harris) choose to film their next episode at the legendary Camp Cold Brook, which was host to a horrific incident where the young campers were drowned in a nearby creek 20 years ago. Their arrival begins like any other episode but the TV crew find that they get more than they bargained for.

Desmond Harrington of “Dexter” fame is returning to TV, joining the cast of the 6th season of “Elementary” as a season regular. Harrington will play Michael, an addict in recovery who offers to be an ongoing support to Sherlock.

Harrington is a familiar face on tele, also playing Jack Bass on “Gossip Girl” and more recently appeared on “Shooter” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”. News via Deadline.
