“Angry Birds 2” is coming along nicely, adding three new voices to the cast. Leslie Jones (“Ghostbusters”), Rachel Bloom (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”) and Sterling K. Brown (“This is Us”) have all been added to the avian sequel, due to hit cinemas in September 2019.
Eugenio Derbez, Zach Woods, Awkwafina, Lil Rel Howery, Dove Cameron, Beck Bennett and Brooklynn Prince also join returning stars Jason Sudeikis as the temperamental Red, Josh Gad as speedy Chuck, Bill Hader as kin of the pigs Leonard, Danny McBride as the volatile Bomb and Peter Dinklage as the legendary Mighty Eagle.
Thurop Van Orman and co-directed by John Rice from a screenplay written by Peter Ackerman. David Maisel and Catherine Winder are executive producing.
