Michael B.Jordan’s next franchise kicks off September, 2020!

It-guy Michael B.Jordan (“Creed”, “Black Panther”) recently inked a deal to bring Tom Clancy’s second most famous literary character to the big screen. John Clark, the character introduced in best-selling novel “Cardinal of the Kremlin”, and previously played on film by Willem Dafoe (1994’s ”Clear and Present Danger”, opposite Harrison Ford as Jack Ryan) and Liev Schreiber (2002’s ”The Sum of All Fears”opposite Ben Affleck), will return to the big screen in “Without Remorse”, which Paramount has dated for a September 18, 2020 release.

Stefano Sollima will direct the film, set during the Vietnam War and serving as the origin story of  former Navy SEAL John Kelly, and explains how he changed his name.

The film, which has been in development for several years (at one stage with “Pirates of the Caribbean” scribe Stuart Beattie on screenplay duties), will be produced by Jordan, Akiva Goldsman, Josh Appelbaum and Corin Nemec.
