Well, it is James Wan.
The “Saw” and “Insidious” brainchild wants has inked a deal with Warner Bros to produce a spin-off of his wet smash “Aquaman”. The film won’t feature Arthur Curry and friends but fix on The Trench, the deadly amphibious creatures seen attacking the hero and his love, Mera, in Wan’s superhero flick.
The flick, which Wan will produce with Peter Safran, won’t encompass the colossal budget that “Aquaman” did.
