Marvel’s Phase 4 plans include Nova movie!

A movie focusing on “Guardians of the Galaxy” sideline characters the NOVA Corps- well, kinda – is said to be in the works at Marvel.

An insider with ostensibly reliable info (he revealed all on “Avengers Endgame” months before its release) on the studio’s Phase 4 plans says a film fixing one member of the intergalactic military-police force in particular is being considered for the shingle’s next round of superhero efforts : Nova.

The oft-spot on insider Roger Wardell says “Nova”- which could potentially also feature John C.Reilly and Glenn Close’s characters from the parent series, we assume- will hit multiplexes alongside the studio’s upcoming fare sometime after “Black Widow”,  “The Eternals”, and “Shang-Chi”.

A flick featuring the cosmic character, better known as Richard Rider, has long been on Kevin Feige’s to-do list.

“Nova is… if we have a big board with a bunch of characters that have more immediate potential, Nova is on that board,” Feige told ComicBook.com in 2018. “Because of the connection to the Guardians universe, because there are more than one examples to pull from in the comics that are interesting. And you’re absolutely right, he was in the earliest drafts of the [Guardians of the Galaxy].”

Wardell says Marvel also has plans for “Black Panther 2”, “Doctor Strange 2”, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”, “Ant-Man 3”, “Thor 4” and “Captain Marvel 2”. He suggests there might also be “New Avengers”, “Dark Avengers” and “Young Avengers” films in the pipeline.
