Cam Gigandet, the “Twilight” star who went on to appear in dissimilar fare like “Burlesque” and “Easy A”, has joined the cast of Paramount’s feature film adaptation of “Without Remorse”.
The book, by acclaimed author Tom Clancy (“The Hunt for Red October”, “Patriot Games”), fixes on John Clark, played in the film by “Creed” star Michael B. Jordan, a Navy SEAL-turned-CIA ops officer, who seeks revenge after his girlfriend is killed by a Baltimore drug lord.
Stefano Sollima will direct the film, which also stars Jamie Bell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Luke Mitchell, Jacon Scipio, Jack Kesy and Todd Lasance.
Gigandet, 37, plays the character of ‘Webb’.
