Chris Isaak wants to return to Twin Peaks

So, the day most predicted would be the day a fourth season of “Twin Peaks” would be announced – because, you see, the last season was announced on October 6, so we expected Showtime might follow suit- has come and gone, and sadly, no sign of the heavily rumoured Showtime sequel.

Now while we continue to play the ‘wait and see’ game – few peeps are gonna be spewing garmonbozia if these rumours lead to a yo-yo commercial being filmed at the Salish lodge featuring a couple of look-a-likes – here’s something to chew on : Chris Isaak wants back in as Agent Chet Desmond.

Obnoxious and Anonymous, the same kindly folks – and they have a good track record, so no picketing them over the rumours, please – who boarded the rumour regatta last week on a fourth season, seemingly caught up with the crooner and actor who expressed interest in bringing back his “Fire Walk With Me” character, should there be an opportunity.

Isaak’s character disappeared without a trace in the 1992 film – so he’s likely still out there somewhere (maybe in a toaster oven?). If we can get Kiefer Sutherland’s Sam Stanley to sign up too, this non-existent (but hopeful) fourth season will be killer.

Meanwhile…
