Robert Aramayo takes Poulter’s place in The Lord of the Rings series

It was announced last year that Will Poulter was exiting the upcoming “The Lord of the Rings” series due to scheduling conflicts, and now he’s been replaced with “Game of Thrones” alumn Robert Aramayo.

Amazon are developing the series, which has already had an early season 2 renewal. The series will be an adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy novels.

Per Deadline, the series is set in Middle Earth and will explore new storylines preceding J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Fellowship of the Ring”. The show’s cast, which has yet to be confirmed by Amazon, is believed to include Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Joseph Mawle and Morfydd Clark. It’s believed that Aramayo will play the young hero role, referred to as Beldor.
