Alan Horn’s in all probability spanking Gary Oldman’s lanky ass as we speak. And I can’t say for sure that he’d be enjoying it.
The “Dark Knight†star, appearing on the “Book of Eli†Panel at Comic Con in San Diego, revealed that “I think the next Batman is next year,” when asked by a fan when the next Caped Crusader jaunt might get going, “We start shooting next year. You didn’t hear that from me.”
Later, in media roundtables, Oldman back-peddled a bit, suggesting he was merely speculating – – or that someone from the studio had a word to him after he dropped the bombshell.
As far as we all know, Christopher Nolan has yet to sign for a third “Batman†film.
