Elisabeth Moss boards Levinson’s Godfather film

Elisabeth Moss (“The Invisible Man”) has joined the cast of Barry Levinson’s film about the making of Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather”.

The “Handmaid’s Tale” actress will play the filmmakers’ missus Eleanor Coppola, with Oscar Isaac set to play Francis Ford.

Based on a blacklist screenplay by Andrew Forotte, the Levinson (“Rain Man”) directed and produced flick will also star Jake Gyllenhaal as studio chief Robert Evans.

“I’ve wanted to work with her for a long time,” said Levinson. “I couldn’t be more excited about her joining the film.  Every performance of Elisabeth’s is nothing short of exceptional.”
