Thorne to play Ironheart in Black Panther 2

Dominique Thorne, whose credits include “Judas and the Black Messiah” and “If Beale Street Could Talk”, will play Ironheart in “Black Panther : Wakanda Forever”.

Kevin Feige tells ComicBook.com, “We’re shooting Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, right now, and the character of Riri Williams, you will meet in Black Panther 2 first. She started shooting, I think, this week before her Ironheart series.”

In the original comics, Tony Stark/Iron Man passed the iron garb over to Williams.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is in cinemas July 8th 2022.
