Hot from the upcoming “House Party” remake, director Calmatic has been signed to direct a redo of 1992 comedy “White Men Can’t Jump”
Housed at 20th Century Fox, the Kenya Barris-Doug Hall written “Jump” redo will again likely follow two competitive basketball hustlers who are forced to team up for a major score. Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes starred in the original, directed by Ron Shelton.
Calmatic’s work as a music video director on projects with Pharrell, Zayn and Khalid resulted in New Line putting out the call for the to helm a remake of the Kid N’Play classic “House Party”.
