Harrison Ford joins the Yellowstone family

Movie superstars Harrison Ford (“Star Wars”, “Indiana Jones”, “Frantic”) and Helen Mirren (“The Queen”, “Red”, “F9”) will star in the next instalment in the “Yellowstone” franchise.

According to TV Line, the Paramount+ original “Yellowstone : 1932” is being described as an “origin story” and will introduce viewers to a new generation of Duttons. Per a description, the series will “explore the early 20th century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.”

Ford and Mirren previously starred in Peter Weir’s “The Mosquito Coast” together in 1986.

No word if the series will be an ongoing one or limited series akin to “Yellowstone : 1883”.
