The next film from the Russo Brothers is all cast up.
Per Deadline, Michelle Yeoh, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Brian Cox and Jenny Slate will star in the duo’s “Gray Man” follow-up at Netflix, “The Electric State” with Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt.
Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are adapting the script for the pic which begins production in the fall.
Based on an illustrated novel by Simon Stålenhag and set in a retro-futuristic past, “State” fixes on an orphaned teenager (Brown) that traverses the American West with a sweet but mysterious robot and an eccentric drifter in search of her younger brother.
Cox and Slate will voice CGI characters in the pic, insiders say.
