As Moviehole exclusively reported a couple of years ago, a new “Planet of the Apes” film is in the works at Disney.
The reboot, produced under the 20th Century Studios label, was later revealed to be the next pic from Wes Ball.
Today, Deadline reports that young “It” actor Owen Teague has snagged the lead primate role in the film.
No further details at this stage but sounds like it’s definitely inching forward.
