“Succession” star Matthew Macfadyen is in talks to join Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Emma Corrin in Deadpool 3 at Marvel and Disney.
Shawn Levy will direct the film, which is said to feature a different incarnation of the Wolverine (Jackman) character than the one from Fox series of X-Men and spin-off films X-Men Origins : Wolverine, The Wolverine and Logan. While the plot has not been confirmed, rumour has it that it involves time-travel.
While Macfadyen’s role hasn’t been confirmed it’s believed he could be playing “the third wheel” Marvel has discussed bringing into this second sequel.
