Comer responds to Fantastic Four rumours; Terminator alum boards project

The film is due out in 2025

Jodie Comer (The Last Duel, “Killing Eve”, rumored for the upcoming ”Blade Runner” TV series) is neither confirming or denying that there’s some truth to the rumors that she’s up for the role of Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman in Marvel’s upcoming Fantastic Four movie.

Last year, the actress was rumoured to be on a short list that included such names as “Twin Peaks : The Return” alum Amanda Syefried, Lily James (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again), Phillipa Soo (Hamilton), Saoirse Ronan (Little Women), and Vanessa Kirby (“The Crown”).

While being interviewed for the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actress denied the rumors initially but slightly changed her tune towards the end of her response.

“No, guys, I don’t know anything about it. I feel like when I say this people are like, ‘Okay…’ It’s like, you can’t win either way… I think, ‘Never say never…’ I think, as I said before, like usually when you finish one project, you then want to try something very different, so I don’t know, maybe.”

Meanwhile, Terminator : Dark Fate writer Josh Friedman has replaced Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer as the scribe on Marvel’s 2025 blockbuster.

Matt Shakman is directing the film, which is rumored to be inching forward as we speak with casting about to move into high gear.
