After a big bidding war over the weekend, Warner Bros has secured a hot action-thriller package titled Maude v Made that Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry will headline. Roseanne Liang will direct the script by Kevin Smith-staple Scot Mosier. The leading ladies will along with Berry’s producing partner Holly Jeter via their banner HalleHolly, along with Jeff Kirschenbaum and Joe Roth who will produce through RK Films. Mosier and Liang will exec produce.
According to Deadline, the pic is a “Bond vs. Bourne” type of global action thriller.
The project hit the market last week with WB putting in the best bid on the weekend.
