As we reported yesterday, there were several strong contenders for the roles of Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane, respectively, in director James Gunn’s Superman Legacy.
Following months of audition tapes and screen tests that took place June 17, James Gunn, Warner Bros and DC Studios announced today who’ll play those roles. David Corenswet will play the title role while Rachel Brosnahan plays Lois.
Warner Bros have yet to say whether they’ll appear at San Diego Comic-Con next month but if they do it’s likely they’ll bring the two stars out to unveil them to the Hall H attendees.
Filming on Superman Legacy begins early this year.
