Twilight and Iron Man stars board Robert Redford’s next

The cast of Robert Redford’s new film is shaping up to be… well, just as fine a cast as some of Redford’s other films (“Sneakers” has one of the most exceptional casts, IMDB it!).

According to Variety, “The Company You Keep” which stars Redford, Shia LaBeouf, Susan Sarandon and Nick Nolte, among others, has also now enlisted the acting services of Brendan Gleeson, Terrence Howard, Anna Kendrick and Sam Elliott; newcomer Jackie Evancho, an 11-year-old finalist on “America’s Got Talent,” has also joined the cast of the Lee Dobbs-written film.

Here’s what Variety has to say on the flick and who plays who in it :

Redford stars as Jim Grant, a former Weather Underground militant wanted by the FBI for 30 years who must go on the run when a young, ambitious reporter (LaBeouf) exposes his true identity.

Kendrick will play Diana, a young FBI agent and LaBeouf’s former flame who provides him with information he needs to uncover the truth about Grant and the Bank of Michigan robbery.

Howard will play Cornelius, the senior FBI agent on the case who has relentlessly pursued Grant across the nation and now leads the task force assigned to take down the Weather Underground fugitives who have been on the run for three decades.

Gleeson will play Henry Osborne, the retired Michigan Chief of Police who investigated the bank robbery in the 1960s.

Elliott will play Mac, Christie’s employer in the marijuana trade who used to be romantically involved with her.

Evancho will play Redford’s daughter, who recently lost her mother and is unaware of her father’s militant past.

You Redford fans excited that we’ll soon be graced by his presence on the big screen again!?
