“Bruce Almighty” co-stars Jim Carrey and Steve Carell will reunite for the Don Scardino-directed comedy “Burt Wonderstone”, of which Carrell has been attached to for a while now.
Deadline says of the film :
Carell plays the title character, a Las Vegas magician who breaks with his longtime stage partner and finds himself upstaged by a rival hip street magician who is stealing his thunder
Carrey and Carrell provided the main voices in “Horton Hears a Who”, but assumingly recorded their voice tracks separately.
Carrell later replaced Carrey in the sequel to “Bruce Almighty”, the ill-fated “Evan Almighty”.
