Ant-Man conjures up a role for Patrick Wilson

Cursed with the versatile cause by the wandering evil film gypsy, Patrick Wilson will follow-up his turns in the horror hits “Insidious” and “The Conjuring” with a showy turn in Marvel’s “Ant-Man”, according to Deadline.

Wilson, who dances from different role to different role (with credits including “The A-Team”, “Passengers”, “Little Children” and a great episode of HBO’s “Girls”, in which he played an older cat that spends one day with Lena Dunham’s character), will play an undisclosed role in the Edgar Wright-directed picture.

Based on the comics of the same name, the film stars Michael Douglas as the original ‘Ant Man’, inventor of the sauce that enables one to shrink on impulse, with Paul Rudd as thief who inherits the guise.

It was announced a couple of days back that Wilson will also reprise his role as a paranormal investigator for “The Conjuring 2”, opening October 2015.
