Disney has tapped “National Treasure” helmer Jon Turtletaub to direct a feature based on the classic Disneyland attraction “It’s a Small World”.
the news – originating at Deadline – comes as the attraction celebrates it’s 50th anniversary.
Jared Stern pitched the idea to the story, and is writing the script.
Turtletaub and Dan Lin (“The Lego Movie”) will produce the film, which will most certainly encompass that classic, catchy tune.
