“The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby” is the collective title for three films written and directed by Benson: “Him”, “Her” and “Them”. Each film tells the same story from a different perspective.
Bowing on September 26, this latest version of the story, “Them”, combines Benson’s previous two films (“Him” and “Her”) uniting their different perspectives.
The film follows the once happily married Conor (McAvoy) and Eleanor (Chastain). Following a life changing tragedy, the couple attempt to reclaim the life and love they once knew, picking up the pieces of a past that may be too far gone.
